Hard copies of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are kept on file at the Facilities Management Services Office, Mackey Service Building and are available on request or in the event of an emergency. Please call extension. 5228 if you have an urgent need for a MSDS sheet.
For convenience purposes a number of online MSDS reference databases are available.
Cornell University MSDS search site This Department recommends the Cornell University Database.
http://hazard.com/ This site, known as Vermont SIRI, or Safety Information Resources, Inc. is a good place to start. Type in the chemical name or CAS number and choose any listed manufacturer's MSDS.
