The following are technology training opportunities:

• Information Technology’s Knowledge Base is a collection of articles and helpful tips to empower SUNY Cobleskill faculty, staff and students to become self-sufficient computer users. 

• Help Center Services to assist users with campus-standard software applications.

• The SUNY Training Center is a special-purpose, system-wide organization within SUNY that promotes the use of leading-edge educational technologies throughout the State University. The Center makes training and professional development available on a diverse list of multi-media systems and hundreds of software programs.

• The FACT (Faculty Access to Computing Technology) initiative was established to give SUNY faculty access to computing needed for continued educational leadership.  The FACT Listserv (FACT-L) is an open listserv available to all interested members of the SUNY community.  To join click the link above.

• Dr. Jiang Tan, Instructional Technologies Coordinator, is available to assist faculty with the use of software to develop instructional programs and course designs.  Dr. Tan is experienced with Blackboard and can assist users with Blackboard issues.  Contact Dr. Tan at 255-5869, vanWagenen Hall Room 205, tanj@cobleskill.edu for further assistance.
