Windows SharePoint Services was instituted during the Summer of
2005 to help users work together. SharePoint sites provide a
central repository for documents, information, and ideas, and
allows users to work interactively. This is an Intranet
feature, meaning it will be used for on-campus communication and
function like an employee bulletin board. SharePoint Services answers a need for the campus to share information among offices and announce news and events other than through campus e-mail services. By setting SUNY Cobleskill Employee Sharepoint as your default Internet Explorer home page, you will have immediate and continual access to information affecting you as a SUNY Cobleskill employee.
