Printing and Copying

Students:
Your
network account permits you to use networked printing
services across campus. Networked printers are located in
campus computer labs and various classrooms. For locations, check
Technology across the Campus.
Your Technology Fee will provide you with an initial $15
funding allocation for printing at the beginning of the Fall
and the beginning of the Spring Semesters. This will allow
you to print up to 300 standard black and white pages on
campus networked LaserJet printers. To avoid wasting your
printing allocation use the print preview feature in all
software to make sure you print jobs are in order prior to
printing. Responsible use of networked printing is
covered in the campus
Computing Resources Policy.
When
using lab/classroom computers, your balance and current page
usage will be displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of
your screen. Simply scroll your mouse over the printer
information icon.

Purchasing Additional Printing:
If you
exceed your printing allocation, you may purchase additional
printing at the library circulation desk. The library will
accept cash only for these purchases. Printing purchases
may require up to one business day for processing before you
will be able to resume printing. Purchases can be made in
any increment. The following chart is a list of prices for
printing.

If you
do not use your entire fall printing allocation, the
remainder will be added to your spring allocation. Any
unused allocation at the end of the academic year will be
lost (balances will not be carried over the summer).
Photocopying is available at
Printing and Publications in Alumni Hall. Students need to
purchase coupon books at the
Bookstore
to pay for this service. Two coin-operated copiers are
available in the Library.
