SUNY Cobleskill's network is a switched Ethernet network with a Gigabit Ethernet backbone, using Enterasys/Dell equipment.   Limited wireless connectivity coverage is available in some areas on campus.  Internet access is contracted through Time Warner with 45 Mbps bandwidth. The Internet is monitored using a PacketShaper and Bluesocket, with academic traffic given priority.  Accounts are monitored to enforce the following network file storage quotas:

• Students:  100 MB

• Faculty/Staff:  200 MB

  • Office Accounts:  200 MB (shared)

  • Y Drive:  100 MB
