The Fall 2007/Spring 2008 Information Technology Student Handbook (Your Guide to Using Computer and Network Services) is available for all students. If you did not receive a copy, contact the Help Center at 5800/WA023. It is also available online: Electronic mail is the official means of communication at SUNY Cobleskill. It is imperative that students check their campus e-mail accounts on a regular basis to be sure that they don't miss out on vital information. The easiest method for reading campus e-mail is Outlook web access.

Important! You are responsible for your network account, your network port, and your personal computer. All network account holders are required to use the campus network in accordance with the Authorized Use of Campus Computing Resources Policy (Computer Resources Policy). Abuse of a network account may result in disciplinary sanctions. Failure to comply with Port Registration Requirements may result in the disabling of the residence network ports as well as disciplinary sanctions. Failure to read the Computer Resources Policy and/or lack of understanding is no excuse for offenses. Do not share your account or your residence network port with anyone else – you will be held responsible for someone else’s activities on your network account or residence network port. |
