Proceeds of SUNY Cobleskill's Annual Fund are used to fund scholarships, special projects and programs, SUNY Cobleskill Magazine, regional activities, Coby Showcase weekend, and the operations of the Alumni Association.
But the most important use of this funding is scholarships. Our goal this year is $130,000, with $60,000 of that targeted for our scholarship programs.
The bulk of our Annual Fund revenue is raised through our Annual Phonathon, held September - November, and February - April. Student callers contact each of our alumni and friends with an update on the college and a request for a donation to our Annual Fund.
