Social Sciences courses give students an understanding of and appreciation for human history and behavior essential to the individual and to society. Students can earn an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree while concentrating on Social Science disciplines. It is recommended that they study in one of the following areas: Anthropology/History, Government/Economics and Psychology/Sociology.

The Psychology concentration provides students with an opportunity to take a wide variety of psychology courses, which include general psychology, child psychology, adolescent psychology/lifespan development, social psychology, special topics in psychology and statistics.
