Women in Science Program hold successful naming contest.
The long-awaited Rachel Carson Research Laboratory is scheduled to officially open next month during the naming ceremony. This laboratory is equipped, thanks in large part to Dr. Pamela Colony (the laboratory director) and the efforts of the Women in Science Program. The facility will house research projects in cell biology, histological methods, and biochemistry. The facility is unique to the SUNY Colleges of Technology and the Community Colleges.
