Faculty in the Department of Natural Sciences have been successful in winning grants from the National Science Foundation, the State of New York, United University Professions, the Faculty-Student Association, and the SUNY Graduate Research Initiative. In addition, faculty have established a gift-giving program to the SUNY Cobleskill College Foundation which will be used to fund specific department needs (such as equipment purchases). Below list some examples of the grants or proposal topics:
