Course Listing: Child Care Certificate
This one-year certificate program prepares students for immediate employment in the childcare field or for transfer into the AAS Early Childhood degree program.
Students can earn a one-year certificate in Child Care Practice that enables them to find work in day care centers or human services agencies. The certificate program offers hands-on courses only and does not include liberal arts, mathematics, or electives.
Students that decide to earn a two-year AAS degree, after completing the certificate program, may transfer into the two-year Early Childhood program of their choice, with no loss of credits.
This program is also offered to the people of Anguilla, an island in the British West Indies, through a partnership between SUNY Cobleskill and the government of Anguilla through the Department of Public Administration and the Education Department.
