In 1983 we opened our student restaurant in Prentice Hall. We selected the name "American Heritage" as a reflection of the rich diversity of cuisine in America. We use and promote foods grown in Schoharie County and the surrounding area. In 2003 The American Heritage became a member of the Chefs Collaborative, a national organization that emphasizes fresh, local and artisanal ingredients.
The restaurant of the culinary program at SUNY-Cobleskill opens September 6, 2005 for the fall semester. The American Heritage is open Thursday and Friday. This semester we are featuring a $19.95 fixed price menu and reservations can be made by calling (518) 255-5425.
