Course Listing: Accounting, A.A.S.
Accounting plays an important role in our complex, highly developed society. Decision makers must have access to the right information at the right time in the right format. Acounting provides the quantitative information, primarily financial in nature, that is useful in making economic decisions.
Accounting majors at SUNY Cobleskill will find their experience both challenging and rewarding. In addition to specialized coursework, students will take courses in computer science and business law, as well as selected coursework to meet their individual needs.
Liberal arts and sciences courses are also part of the Accounting curriculum, providing intellectual and cultural appreciation of oneself and the world in general. The department offers limited internship program for credit to qualified students.
