Welcome to the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife! The Department of Fisheries and Wildlife has seven full time, award winning faculty and staff who serve over 150 students enrolled in Bachelor Degrees in Wildlife Management and Fisheries & Aquaculture or Fisheries & Wildlife Technology AAS. A North American Herpetology lab, wildlife museum, display aquaria, forty-thousand gallon coldwater fish hatchery, tropical fish hatchery, warm-water fish/shellfish hatchery, five aquaponic greenhouses and ten research ponds highlight our facilities. Our rural campus has nearby access to streams, rivers, lakes and forests that provide an outdoor learning laboratory for students enrolled in our field oriented courses. Thank-you for visiting SUNY Cobleskill and the pages listed below that illustrate the hands-on approach we take to fisheries and wildlife education.
